Nangyari ang insidente sa northbound lane ng EDSA malapit sa ginagawang MRT7, ayon sa ulat ni Jhomer Apresto sa Super Radyo dzBB.
Ayon sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, isang Mitsubishi Montero na nasa likod ng motor ang bumangga dito, dahilan para magpagewang-gewang ang motor. Tumama muna sa unahang gulong ng isang six-wheeler truck ang motor at pagkatapos ay bumangga ito sa bus sa harapan nito.Nailigtas at nailabas mula sa ilalim ng bus ang motorcycle rider at ang kanyang angkas at sila ay isinakay na sa ambulansiya.
Samantala, kinakausap na ng mga tauhan ng Quezon City Police District ang driver ng SUV upang kuhanan ito ng salaysay.
