A motorbike rider is fighting for life after crashing through a rideshare vehicle’s rear windscreen in Melbourne’s north. The collision between the motorcycle and the car occurred on Elevation Blvd, Craigieburn about 9.20pm on Wednesday.
Police say the rider lost control of his motorbike before being thrown through the car’s back windscreen and landing on its back seat. The rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the rideshare driver was not injured. “Investigators believe the rider was travelling with two other riders at the time, who left the scene before police arrived,” police said. Anyone with any information or CCTV is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
