More Rearview Camera Recalls, This Time For The Ford Bronco | Carscoops carscoops
, Ford has developed a software update that properly configures the SYNC system for use in 4-Low mode. Ford will issue an over-the-air update to resolve the issue, meaning owners will not have to bring their Bronco into a local dealership but should they prefer, they can still make a visit to a dealer. This is not the only recent recall to impact the Bronco.
In late June, Ford issued a recall for some 63,000 Bronco and Ranger models,, increasing the risk of injury. The recall notice revealed that there may have been inadequate adhesion between the windshield and the body structure. This recall was issued just a couple of weeks after 53,103 Broncos were recalled because the rear doors could be opened even if the child safety lock was set to on.
