A mom was in the car with her kids on I-71 northbound near the west 117th exit Saturday when she saw concrete from the bridge fall onto the roadway.
“They were big and they fell and thank god they didn’t hit the windshield because it was I’d have to say two or three seconds we were right before the bridge we saw they fall went right over them,” said Jessica Barry.
“So I had no choice but to run them over and they tumbled underneath I braced myself,” said Barry. “I didn’t know if it was going to to flip us.”
