And while the shooting is the best part, participants also have a chance to be educated.
“It rained last week so we moved it today. It’s a fundraiser for the mobile law enforcement foundation. it’s a clay shoot out here in west mobile and really excited to have it today we’re just out here making sure more people know that the foundation exists and supporting our police that keep us safe on the street,” president of the foundation, John Arendall, said.
“Of individuals that want to come out and shoot that’s the draw to come out and shoot but then also they get to learn more about the foundation and how the foundation supports the Police Department and in turn makes our city a lot safer,” Arendall said.“It’s being out in the elements and being able to pull the trigger when you can pull the trigger,” Donnie Prichard said.And when these teams got done shooting, there was also a raffle where they had the opportunity to win some nice prizes.
