After McClure was taken to the Metro Jail medical wedge, the doctor on staff called an ambulance to have McClure taken to a local hospital. McClure was unconscious during the transport. Once admitted to the hospital, McClure was found to have multiple intracranial hemorrhages and has been put on life support.
On Sunday, September 8, 2024, McClure’s family has removed him from life support. At this time, McClure is still alive but not expected to survive. MCSO Major Crimes Detectives reviewed video surveillance in the jail which showed McClure lying on his mat and Miles kicking and stomping on McClure’s head.Miles has been charged with Assault 2nd for the incident. Authorities advise that in the event that McClure passes away, the charges will be upgraded to Murder.
