Southcentral Alaska will experience a mix of sun, snow, and rain over the weekend. Snow is expected to arrive from the east and spread through the region. Wind chill warnings are still in effect for the Beaufort Sea coast. Stormy weather will continue over the Aleutians, Gulf of Alaska, and southeast.

Southcentral will get a mix of sun and clouds Friday. The weekend will see the arrival of snow and rain to the region. Snow is expected to arrive from the east, and spread through the region Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Wind chill warnings were still in effect Thursday for the central to eastern Beaufort Sea coast. Wind chills down to dangerous levels of 60 to 70 below have been blasting the region.

Stormy weather will continue over the Aleutians, to the Gulf of Alaska and southeast, with southcentral being added in over the weekend as the storm track moves east and sends a mix of rain, snow and gusty winds to the region
