I suffered an injury that caused internal bleeding. This gave me severe anemia, which I was unaware I had. After diagnosis, doctors were able to stop the blood loss. The anemia and its symptoms went away, and I returned to my normal self.
However, my wife does not understand that the illness was the cause of my changed behavior and believes I am permanently mentally ill. She is trying to take me away from our daughter because of this.
