She came down with a sore throat on Friday, and by Sunday she felt considerably worse. At urgent care that night, she was given Tamiflu and sent home. The next day, her condition worsened and she was rushed to the hospital. Fox had developed bacterial pneumonia , leading to organ failure .
Her kidneys were shutting down and one of her lungs had collapsed. Within 30 minutes, she was put on a ventilator and her chances of survival were uncertain
