Mistango River Resources Inc. announced positive assay results from its recent drilling program on the Omega Mine property in Toronto , Ontario , Canada. The drilling program, which included 18 holes totaling 2,520 metres, focused on testing the shallow mineralization of the SW Zone. Elevated gold results were found in several holes, with hole 002 intersecting 1.5 g/t Au over a width of 7.1m.

The mineralization is likely found in Temiskaming Assemblage sediments and is sandwiched between layers of deformed ultramafic rock. A second mineralized zone was also discovered deeper down and to the north of the SW zone, with hole 11 intersecting 0.97 g/t Au over 7.5m. The results are being integrated with historical data to reinterpret the SW Zone
