Many of the people experiencing homelessness who lived off Fairbanks Street have now moved just a couple of blocks away, prompting concerns from a new set of Anchorage businesses.

“It’s impacting our business ... our staff are more scared, our customers are commenting and everyone’s being harassed,” Hancock said. Hancock said he has also started looking into having secondary security measures due to what he calls “that much of a threat.”
