A man leaped to his death from a posh Midtown hotel on Tuesday morning, triggering a major investigation, police said.
A 64-year-old man died after allegedly jumping to his death from the 20th floor of the Kimberly Hotel located at 145 East 50th Street.and EMS rushed to the Kimberly Hotel located at 145 East 50th St. at around 10:30 a.m. on July 16 after receiving a report of a man with a serious injury.
Responding officers found a 64-year-old man dead in the rear of the building. Upon further investigation, police believe the man took his own life by hurling off the building’s 20th floor. No criminality is suspected at this time.
