Sorry to disappoint 29 counties but after watching yesterday’s National League final, I’m more convinced than ever that only three teams can win this year’s All-Ireland SFC: Dublin, Derry and Kerry. You can forget about everyone else.
They remain the team to beat as yesterday reminded us that they are never easily beaten, coming back from the dead not once but twice. The demeanour and the signals he sends out are striking because he possesses an incredible confidence in himself.Right now, those Derry players will be told they are good enough to win an All-Ireland. I can picture Mickey talking to them. I can hear his voice.The younger Derry lads that have not seen a lot of heartbreak and defeat will be convinced nothing is going to beat them.
