John Cavanagh, 44, died in hospital from a head injury after being attacked in Dawley Avenue, Uxbridge, on 4 March, the Met Police said.

He appeared before Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody.Detectives received reports of an assault in Dawley Avenue on 4 March at about 20:10 GMT.Police said a post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death was the result of a head injury.London Evening Standard
