The Michigan State Spartans had a top recruit in forward Cullen Potter until he decommitted this week.

NTDP U17 F Cullen Potter has de-committed from Michigan State. His most likely landing spot is Arizona State.... this fall. Potter led the U17s in scoring this season.The US-NTDP U17 leading scorer and top prospect in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft is officially a Sun Devil.Potter was a standout on the NTDP's Under-17 Team, which he led in scoring. Potter scored 17 goals with 29 assists for 46 points in just 54 games. He had four power-play goals and two game-winning goals.
