Miami men busted with endangered Key deer inside car: deputies
Two Miami men were busted this week with an endangered Key deer in the back of their ride, deputies said.
Deputies found an injured Key deer inside the vehicle on top of a cooler, some lawn chairs and other miscellaneous items, authorities said. The men eventually realized the deer had survived and said they decided to take the animal to a vet for treatment, but neither Pena nor Valdes called 911 or state or federal wildlife officials, deputies said.
