Temperatures will also struggle to bypass the early teens, meaning the Indian Summer conditions are certainly behind us for the immediate future. "That frontal system will bring some wet and windy weather, and very strong winds too. Coastal gales possible and those winds up to around 60 miles per hour at those exposed coasts.
"Parts of Scotland, temperatures are cooler. Showery conditions pushing up could merge into longer spells of rain".
