This money comes from an opioid lawsuit settlement with the hopes it could spark positive change around the state.
State representative Rex Reynolds has led the charge on passing a bill that will pump 30 million dollars into rehabilitation and treatment statewide.
As we’ve previously reported, passing this bill was a top priority for Reynolds before the end of this year’s legislative session. In the meantime, he hopes this money will go a long way towards funding facilities across the state that have struggled to stay afloat.
