PETALING JAYA: Forty-six party-goers were issued RM1,000 compounds each following a raid on an entertainment outlet for operating illegally during the conditional movement control order (MCO).

Police also detained a 43-year-old local man for hiring foreign workers without proper permits, while eight foreign men, aged from 21 to 36, were also arrested for violating their visitors' visa by working as waiters.Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said police discovered that 58 people, including 17 women, were partying when they arrived at the outlet located on Jalan PJU 5/14, Dataran Sunway in Kota Damansara around 8.45pm on Friday .

ACP Nik Ezanee said police also issued compounds to 46 Malaysians — 31 men and 15 women — for violating the conditional MCO."Members of the public must comply with standard operating procedures and regulations set during the conditional MCO. We will take stern action against people who flout the rules," he added.
