At one point, an agitator could be seen dunking a huge chunk of ice on an officer’s head before fleeing.“The NYPD is aware of certain videos taken earlier today in Washington Square Park showing individuals attacking cops,” the polish commissioner said in a statement on X in the aftermath. “I want to be very clear: The behavior depicted is disgraceful, and it is criminal.
