But this time, it is going to look a lot different. These changes will only apply for the weekend of June 29-30: Mayor Andrew Ginther, in conjunction with CPD, has announced that police will increase their presence in uniform and in plain clothes in the Short North area. There will also be a bike patrol monitoring the area, from midnight until 4:30 a.m., with a particular focus being made on areas where people might be gathering, like garages and public parking lots.Citywide curfew, with 13-year-olds or younger having to be home an hour before dusk.The mayor's office says that this curfew has always been in place, but that enforcement will be "stepped up" this weekend.to understand what is working, and what still needs to change.
