It said water service interruptions will be implemented in areas in Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Bacoor and Imus from 2 p.m. on July 27 to 8 a.m. on July 28.Maynilad said that due to strong winds in the past few days, its Putatan Water Treatment Plant 1 in Muntinlupa suffered power fluctuation.

It said it needs to shut down the Putatan treatment plant to replace the uninterruptible power supply and air circuit breaker of the dissolved air flotation system. “Makakatulong ito upang maiwasan ang malaking damage sa planta na maaaring magresulta sa mas mahabang service interruption ,” it said in an advisory.

Maynilad said it is coordinating with its electricity service provider to address the power fluctuations due to strong winds.
