Published: Jul. 17, 2024, 12:57 a.m.ByAt 2:30 a.m. July 13, a caller reported that a dark blue car struck a tree on Richmond Road, then was driven away northbound.

The driver, a Mayfield Heights man, 34, was arrested for OVI. He had a blood-alcohol content of .167, above the state minimum for drunk driving of .08.At 12:15 a.m. July 10, an officer checked on the registration of a car that appeared to have an illegal window tint. A traffic stop followed, as the car also appeared to display a license plate belonging to another car.

The woman was also found to be wanted on a Willoughby police warrant. She was arrested on the warrant and turned over to the WPD.At 2:35 a.m. July 8, an automated license plate reader informed police that a car traveling on Richmond Road, near Legacy Village and Cedar Road, had been reported stolen from a Euclid address.

The suspect drove 80 miles per hour on Mayfield Road while passing Lander Road. Lyndhurst police lost sight of the car and ended its pursuit as the car neared I-271.
