Updated: Jun. 26, 2024, 3:34 p.m.A Lyndhurst man reported that a delivered package containing more than $3,000 worth of cell phones was stolen from his home's front porch.At 5:10 a.m. June 22, Lyndhurst police initiated a chase of a car driven by a boy who was a suspect in an aggravated robbery in Cleveland.The suspect vehicle traveled 80 mph when passing Miramar Boulevard in University Heights, and 90 mph at Warrensville Center and Cedar roads., the suspect car crashed.
The 15-year-old Cleveland boy who was driving was taken into custody and to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.The Lyndhurst police report did not note details about the aggravated robbery.At 7:25 p.m. June 23, a resident reported that her DoorDash driver’s car had hit the side of her house and that the driver then drove away without speaking to her.Auto theft: Farnhurst RoadThe man had left the key in the car when he parked the vehicle on the street. The car has not been recovered.
The woman told police that she had purchased tickets from Ticketmaster and was having issues accessing them. She then found a random, incorrect phone number on the internet for Ticketmaster and called the number. She was told to purchase Target gift cards and provide the PIN numbers on the back of the cards to the scammer and she would then receive access to her tickets.At 3:40 p.m. June 19, a man, 65, reported that a delivered package containing cell phones had been stolen from his home’s front porch.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
