Bungie and LucasFilm are joining forces to bring the iconic Star Wars universe into the Destiny 2 world. Players will soon have the opportunity to equip their Guardians with armor and accessories inspired by their favorite Star Wars characters, starting with the launch of Destiny 2: Heresy, Act I, on February 2nd. This exciting collaboration was revealed as a surprise during a recent developer livestream on Twitch.
Destiny 2 players will have access to a variety of Star Wars-themed items through the Eververse, including unique armor sets, accessories, and emotes. The armor sets will feature designs inspired by iconic Star Wars units and characters. Hunters will be able to don the Covert Rangers set, drawing inspiration from the deadly Death Troopers. Warlocks will find their aesthetic aligned with the imposing Imperial Guards through the Royal Protector set, while Titans can embody the classic Stormtrooper aesthetic with the Shock Enforcer set.Adding to the galactic flair, a new Ghost shell resembling the second Death Star will also be available. While there's no mention of lightsabers in this announcement, Bungie assures players that additional Star Wars-themed content will be included, such as a new Sparrow, ship, and finisher. This collaboration marks another foray into cross-universe content for Destiny 2, which has previously partnered with franchises like Fortnite, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and The Witcher. The upcoming Heresy Act I is the third episode in the Destiny 2 saga, serving as the final chapter in the long-running Light and Darkness story
