Fans are loving the styles
Matalan shoppers have been raving about a series of denim and top combos being showcased by two stunning models in a 'size-by-side' fashion feast. Going under the name 'rantsandbigpants' and 'clubforty.clair' the pair have been rocking the Matalan outfits and fans of the store are loving the way the same styles are being modelled on a size 10 and a size 16 figure.
The duo, who styled out a number of outfits from the high street store, describe themselves in their Instagram bios. One of the pair call themselves "50+ true to life in midlife and menopause" with her counterpart described as a "personal stylist and content creator". The reaction from fashionistas has been tremendous.
After Matalan posted a reel on Instragram with the caption: "Hello new Spring wardrobe", the retailer offered shoppers a sneak preview of their denim Papaya Style Edit. It explained: "Claire is wearing a size 10 and Neens is wearing a size 16 in the denim jeans. Which outfit is your fave?" In a price round up, the brand added: "Shop the outfits mentioned below on matalan.co.uk or check your local store.
Instagram The fun video showed off the outfits demonstrating that they looked equally gorgeous on both model sizes. One fan said: "Love these ladies and great to see looks side by side. Have given me inspiration to pop to Matalan tomorrow before it’s all sold out!" rantsandbigpants replied: "Woooo hooooo. Thanks Matalan for supporting and believing in #sizebyside. It's so empowering and inspiring for women to see that no matter what your size or shape if YOU like it YOU can rock it. Oh and of course @clubforty.claire style tips definitely help to show your shape off to its best."
