Police say a mass shooting early Sunday morning in Pennsylvania left one dead and five injured.

Troopers and other responders were called to the Chevy Chase Community Center around 12:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When troopers arrived on scene, they, police and first responders rendered aid to several gunshot victims. They say at least nine people were shot including an individual who was pronounced dead at the scene, identified as a 22-year-old man from Pittsburgh.
The news release states that the additional eight gunshot victims are currently being treated or were treated and released at various medical centers. State police say the shooting reportedly happened at a private party being held at the Chevy Chase Community Center.
