The superhero title had a major showcase at San Diego Comic-Con with a new story trailer, and a panel that explored the relationships between Spider-Man and Venom in the game.
The new limited PlayStation 5 bundle will release September 1 - 19 days before Marvel's Spider-Man 2's main release date. A reveal video on the official PlayStation YouTube page showed a design on both the console's plating and a custom DualSense controller that looks like the branding used in much of the game's promotional material, with the white spider symbol on a red background, gradually being taken over by the black Venom symbiote.
