After much speculation, the identity of Venom’s host in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was revealed in a new trailer that premiered at San Diego Comic Con.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Which character in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 would be the host taken over by Venom has been the topic of much discussion, but a brand-new trailer premiering at San Diego Comic Con appears to have confirmed the most obvious candidate.
The latest trailer from Insomniac Games dropped during the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at SDCC, confirming that Harry Osborn will be the host of Venom. Based on the post-credit scenes in both Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales, this may not come as a surprise, as it was heavily implied Harry would be taken over by the symbiote. It was revealed throughout the course of the first game that Harry was suffering from a rare disease which took the life of his mother, and had been confined to a lab in Norman Osborn's penthouse residence, where the Venom symbiote was seemingly being used as an experimental treatment.
