Peter Parker has some returning abilities and some quite new ones in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as he attempts to have a healthy work-life balance.
Abilities in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are different for Miles and Peter, although certain ones are able to accomplish similar things, such as throwing enemies in the air or dashing toward them. Abilities are equipped and mapped to a button, meaning Peter can have four active abilities at any given time. Each button has two or three abilities available to map onto it that cannot be assigned anywhere else, although players can switch them out if they so desire.
Players should note that some abilities will not be unlocked until late into the main story and due to that the nature of those abilities may spoil what happens. 5 Spider Shock Shock Enemies One of the earlier unlocks on this list, it is extremely effective at crowd control and disabling enemies that might otherwise be overwhelming Peter. This ability mimics some of Miles’ electric powers, and it similarly shocks enemies and leaves them open for attack.
4 Spider Whiplash Throw Your Enemies Around This ability lifts enemies into the air and, when upgraded, also deals shock damage to them. The value here is that it can affect brute enemies, and it is slightly easier to control than the corresponding Anti-Venom Tempest ability. While it is not a lot of stun or shock damage, it is still better than no shock damage, and this makes it a good ability for Peter to keep on hand in case Miles isn’t around.
The Symbiote/Anti-Venom abilities listed below are the same ability as the name depending on what part of the game you are in.
