The web-shooting, wall-climbing superhero has seemingly never been so vulnerable in any of his previous bouts, including the showdown with the Sinister Six in Insomniac's first Marvel's Spider-Man title.
Peter, in a state of peaceful repose, lies beneath his weeping companions - MJ unable to speak, and Harry openly sobbing. The sound of distant thunder, a biblical downpour of rain, and the somber timbre of a slow and mournful violin appropriately adorn this devastating scene; however, Harry refuses to give up and lose his friend. He sacrifices his Symbiote abilities, and his own wellbeing, to attempt to resuscitate Peter.
