The Hibs winger was out for the second half of last season after injuring his ACL
Hibernian winger Martin Boyle has spoken about the ‘mentally exhausting’ time he spent in recovery after his horror ACL injury that ruled him out of the World Cup.
Boyle said: “People don’t really see behind the scenes and it’s different when you’re on camera. You just put a smile on your face, but it wasn’t all happy smiles. The attacker is grateful for the help he received in this time from club and country but was kept going by his two daughters. He explained: “When I’m having a tough day I can go home and see a smile on their face, it kind of opens your eyes … which is great.
