The new 16,000 sq ft food hall will feature a 'show-stopping' M&S bakery and a dedicated wine shop
Marks & Spencer has shared more details about its upcoming M&S Foodhall in Stockport, offering local residents a glimpse of how the new store will look when it opens. The brand new 16,000 sq ft store will officially open at Stockport Retail Park on Wednesday, June 14.
The retailer confirmed the opening back in January and initially said it would create more than 70 jobs in the area, but now it has confirmed that more than 110 jobs have been created to support the new food hall. It comes after M&S closed down it's Stockport store in Merseyway shopping centre in 2021.
Just in time for the summer weather, the new store will also be offering a range of summer BBQ and picnic staples, and will be promoting a huge range of M&S Remarksable products – including Super Soft sliced bread, RSCPA Assured fresh milk, and beef mince.
