The average value of homes across the U.S. rose between 2019 and 2023, with some counties seeing a more significant rise than others.
New data from the U.S. Census shows the counties that saw the biggest increase in home values in the nation between 2019 and 2023.Despite rising house prices, the census found that home ownership across the country rose by 8.4 percent, from 76.4 million between 2014 and 2018 to 82.9 million between 2019 and 2023.The largest increase in home values occurred in Pitkin County, Colorado, home of the luxury ski town Aspen. The median house price in the county rose by 49.
'This development, located near the Airport Business Center, will create up to 300 units in three four-story buildings, addressing the area's urgent need for affordable housing.'The APCHA is aiming for 100 percent of the housing units in the project to be affordable in a 'community-based design' that 'ensures the project serves a broad mix of demographics and includes various unit types.
