Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California in a day of No Kings protests.

No Kings Day events are set for Saturday. Annette Arreola reports for Today in LA Weekend on Saturday March 28, 2026. Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather Saturday in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California in a day of protest.

In Los Angeles, Gloria Molina Grand Park near City Hall will be among the larger demonstrations. The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. march. In an effort to keep participants from entering the nearby 101 Freeway, Caltrans crews Friday placed security gates on freeway ramps in the downtown area. The gates, which swing close across the ramp, were installed in response to previous protests that ended up blocking traffic on the freeway.Click a circle on the map to learn more about a protest, zoom out to see more protests happening around the world.Avalon: Noon to 1 p.m., 100 Pebbly Beach RoadBeverly Hills: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Beverly Hills Garden Park, 9439 Santa Monica Blvd.;Claremont: 2 to 4 p.m., Foothill and North Indian Hill boulevardsCulver City: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Culver City Hall, 9770 Culver Blvd.Encino: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 16501 Ventura Blvd.Glendale: Noon to 2 p.m., in the plaza behind City Hall, 613 E.
