Mantashe orders mining companies to withdraw retrenchment letters eNCA
Government is calling on the mining industry to protect workers. At least 19 miners at the Implats Marula mine in Limpopo have tested positive for COVID-19. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy says officials have been doing random visits to mines to check if health and safety regulations are being adhered to. Minister Gwede Mantashe speaks to eNCA.
