Manny’s Mexican Kitchen debuts in CityLine with a “More Mex, Less Tex” concept.

The 5,115-square-foot space is located at 1250 State St., across from CityLine Plaza. The menu will focus on regional Mexican specialties, including pasilla short ribs, chamorro en adobo, and Michoacán-style carnitas.On the drinks menu, the Jalisco Punch is the traditional tequila paloma served in a clay cup; another drink is called Chapultepec, with mezcal from Oaxaca; and La Cubanita, a new version of a mojito with a touch of champagne. “The idea is to honor where we come from and invite a new generation to discover the flavors and energy that defined the brand,” Hernandez said. CityLine is home to other restaurants, including Show Mini Hot Pot, Crimson Dragon Café, The Brass Tap, Edoko Sushi & Robata, Good Union Urban BBQ, Tricky Fish, Oni Ramen and Saravanaa Bhavan.Imelda García is a journalist covering Hispanic food and Latino culture trends.
