Passengers are urged to check their parking and lounge bookings
Manchester Airport has issued a fresh alert for passengers travelling in the coming weeks as several airlines move from Terminals 1 and 3 to the new-look Terminal 2. The airport has urged travellers to make any amendments to lounge and parking bookings so that they don’t get caught out when they go on holiday.
As part of the plans, Terminal 1 will close while the number of airlines operating from Terminal 3. The aim is to make the new-look Terminal 2 “the heartbeat of the airport”.The first half of the new Terminal 2 opened in 2021, while the second half is on track to open next year. With the transformation set to be completed in 2025, the airport has announced a number of airlines which are already moving over.
