A list of airlines affected has been published, together with the dates they will change over
Manchester Airport has issued an alert to passengers as several airlines are set to move from Terminals 1 and 3 to the revamped Terminal 2.
As part of this programme, some airlines will find their 'new homes' in Terminal 2. Airlines such as Austrian, Lufthansa and Swiss are scheduled to move to Terminal 2 on Sunday, October 27, followed by TAP Air Portugal on Wednesday, October 30. Biman Bangladesh is set to move on November 5, Jet2 on November 6, and Iberia Express and Vueling both on November 7. EgyptAir and SunExpress will switch to Terminal 2 on November 12, with Royal Jordanian moving the following day.
In June, the airport announced the latest development in the Terminal 2 transformation programme, with a large two-storey link bridge being installed. This bridge will connect the existing terminal building to a new pier currently under construction, providing additional aircraft gates, stands and seating.
