Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro were withdrawn at the SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, as Man Utd continued their pre-season schedule against Arsenal on their United States tour.
Manchester United have been handed a double injury concern with the new Premier League season in sight after Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro were forced off during their pre-season match with Arsenal. The 21-year-old former Atalanta man, Hojlund, had opened the scoring at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Hojlund put United in front with a blistering run and finish. He latched on to a long ball in California before slotting home a first goal of the pre-season schedule, but it was not all good news.Wantaway midfielder Hannibal Mejbri replaced Hojlund and was deployed as a false nine by Erik ten Hag when he entered the fray.
Manchester City are their opponents at Wembley on Saturday, August 10. Before then, United have two other pre-season friendly matches in the Unites States - against Real Betis and rivals Liverpool - as they continue to fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
