An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed during a “narcotics transaction” in northeast Houston Sunday, officers with the Houston Police Department said. hpd kprc2 click2houston htx hounews
Police said when they arrived at the scene, they located a Nissan Altima that was stopped in a driveway and found a man inside the vehicle that had been shot.According to HPD, it was reported that the shooting may have possibly stemmed from a narcotics transaction between two people that had gone bad. Officers said the disturbance escalated. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim, investigators said.
Police said the victim then got into his vehicle and tried to drive away but only made it a few feet away before succumbing to his injuries.The investigation is ongoing.
