The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office said Elijah Rene Bernal, 19, died from multiple gunshot wounds. The deadly shooting happened at about 8:15 p.m. on March 21 at the Avistar at the Oaks apartment complex off Thousand Oaks near Wetmore Road. Police said Bernal, a resident of the apartment complex, was supposed to meet someone in the parking lot.
