A man was shot by police and is in custody after he opened fire outside of a Hebrew school—though no injuries were reported—in Memphis and fled the scene Monday afternoon.
Memphis Police Assistant Chief Don Crowe said the suspect tried to enter Margolin Hebrew Academy, but was stopped by double doors and began shooting before fleeing in a car, CNNOfficers conducted a traffic stop, but the suspect exited his vehicle armed with a handgun, so an officer fired at and shot the suspect, who is now in critical condition, according to a Memphis Police Facebook
