One man was killed and another was critically wounded in two separate shootings Sunday afternoon in the District, police said.
In the first incident, a man was fatally shot about 2:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Farragut Street NW, said Officer Sean Hickman, a police spokesman. The site of the shooting is in a residential area just west of Rock Creek Cemetery.About two hours later, a man was shot in the 2300 block of 13th Place NE, Hickman said. He said the man was unconscious and not breathing after being attacked.
The site is a residential street in the Brentwood area, a few blocks east of the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station.Gift this article
