BUKIT MERTAJAM: The body of a decomposed man, believed to be murdered, was found with his head covered with a pillow case at a unit in Taman Pauh flat on Monday (March 9).
Central Seberang Prai Acting OCPD Supt Mohd Mustafa Bidin said the victim lived alone at the unit and was found with his hands and legs tied."Police received a report from his neighbour, who complained about a foul smell coming from the home.
"When the police arrived, the main gate was locked and we found that the fan and the lights in the living room were still on. "The body was found lying next to the bed of the master bedroom with his hands and legs tied with wires and head covered in a red pillow case," he said in a statement.Supt Mustafa said investigation are ongoing and the case has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
