Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after crash between car and cyclist in south Manchester
A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a crash between a car and a cyclist in south Manchester.
A 44-year-old man, who was riding the bike, was taken to hospital by paramedics from North West Ambulance Service where he remains in a stable condition.His injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening at this stage, GMP confirmed. Palatine Road was closed in both directions throughout most of Friday, whilst officers from GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit carried out enquiries at the scene.
"At around 10.10am today officers were called to reports that a pedal cyclist had collided with a motor vehicle.
