Judge Richard Bell sentenced Dotson to one year at the Lorain Correctional Institution.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 20-year-old Cleveland man pleaded guilty to leading Westlake police on a chase from Crocker Park through several neighboring communities.

Westlake Police Captain Gerald Vogel said around 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, officers learned a vehicle parked on Main Street in Crocker Park was owned by a man who had felony warrants from multiple agencies for probation violation, fleeing from police, and theft. When Dotson returned to the car around 10 p.m., Captain Vogel said officers tried to stop him, but he took off running, got into the vehicle and drove off.said Captain Vogel.
