Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Fairview Station (PS 5) arrested a milk tea shop owner for allegedly threatening three minors on Friday, July 7. | ManilaBulletin READ:
Lt. Col. Elizabeth Jasmin, PS 5 chief, identified the suspect as Jose Monsior Agustin Ramos, 34, of Barangay Fairview, Quezon City.
According to the police report, the three 16-year-old victims played billiards at a milk tea shop owned by the suspect on Lilac Dahlia St. in Barangay Greater Fairview at around 5:30 p.m. While playing billiards, the victims decided to buy milk tea at the other milk tea shop adjacent to Ramos’ store.Afterwards, the suspect allegedly showed his Glock air pistol to the victims and threatened them.
Due to fear, the victims reported the incident to their parents who immediately sought the assistance of the police, leading to the arrest of the suspect.The suspect will face charges for violations of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, police said.
