The provincial government of Bulacan, through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office , has lined up six training sessions to equip the rescuers and responders with skills they need during rescue operations.
The sessions include The Ambulance Operation Training which was held on July 5 to 7; Basic Aquatic Safety and Firefighting Training that will be conducted on July 11-14; Motorist Road Safety Training on July 17; Lactation Management Training on July 18; Stress Debriefing on July 20; and Psychological First Aid Training on July 21.
PDRRM officer Ret. Col. Manuel M. Lukban, Jr. said that a Responders’ Day and basketball games will be held for the first time on July 29 and 30. Also, the newly elected officials of the Bulacan Council of DRRMOs took their oath of office before Fernando.
