A search is underway for a hit-and-run driver after police say he was killed while trying to break up a fight.
Local News– A man is dead Tuesday after police say he was trying to break up a fight in north Houston and a search is underway for his killer., it happened around 5 a.m. at a Chevron parking lot on Veterans Memorial and Gulf Bank. That’s where investigators say David McKinney, 32, was trying to break up a fight.At some point, police say an unidentified suspect got into his truck and ran McKinney over, killing him.
Police are still searching for the driver but have described his vehicle as a 2003 Chevy Silverado with a Texas license plate reading: TDY9548.David McKinney was killed trying to break up fight in north Houston In the meantime, if you have any information that could help lead to an arrest, you’re asked to call HPD or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS .
